1. Barack Obama. he gave an incredible interview on 60 minutes last night. Could Bush have compiled that much good footage of himself in his entire 8 years? I think not.

6. Thanksgiving. I'm staying in LA this year to host my first Thanksgiving. We'll be brining our Turkeys to grill (a delicious solution for those of you who haven't tried it)
7. Small businesses. Maybe it's not such a bad time to be starting one after all?
8. P.S. Arts. A great organization that supports art in public schools. We just did an event with them this weekend for New Editions, a crazy but fun bazaar at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.
9. Fall weather - it's being missed here in LA, especially due to the heat and smoke from these fires, but I'm going to Chicago next weekend in search of some, and to see my sister...
